[cta-box] Transcript: [0:00:00] Hey, this is Jeff Wenberg from LeadPages. So why am I looking on the Amazon? No, I’m not shopping for a Kindle although they’re pretty sweet, and the Kindle is one of the bestselling products on Amazon, and Amazon not too long ago reported it sold more Kindle books than physical books. Now ebooks have always been a go-to lead magnet for digital marketers to build their list with, and with the advent of the Kindle, this ebook sales have skyrocketed. They sell millions of ebooks every year. They made a whole lot of people a whole lot of money. Now we’re talking everyone from the most famous authors in digital marketers to a broke rural Minnesota lady who became a millionaire by selling Kindle books. So if it’s good for making money it’s great for building your list. That said, the competition has become pretty fierce and without any marketing or any way to generate excitement or the buzz you need with your audience to make your ebook a success, it’s really hard to generate income. Recently, Pat Flynn used this page in conjunction with a well-written ebook and a huge audience to launch a Kindle bestseller called Let Go. Now based on Pat’s design and with his permission, we created this mini site inside of LeadPages. It’s designed to get that audience’s engagement and excitement to help get things moving forward for your ebook, your Kindle book, or this even works for print books as well. It’s completely mobile responsive and you can link it up with your Amazon or Barnes and Noble sales page or whatever marketplace you’re selling your ebook in. There’s room for testimonials and social media comments which can really boost your social proof. There’s room for video. The navigation is really nice as well. If you click on one of the links, it takes you immediately to the corresponding section. One thing that Pat Flynn didn’t have that we’ve added as an option for you is this section right here. Now this section allows someone to opt in to get the first chapter of your book free so it helps drive sales and build your list. You can easily deliver this chapter using our built-in lead magnet delivery system. This is a very engaging mini site that’s now available to all customers inside the LeadPages. It’s super easy to customize so let’s take a look at how to do that. In the template section, find the ebook landing page from Pat Flynn and click on ‘Use This Template.’ To customize something, just click on it, and then you can edit it. So let’s go ahead and upload an ebook that we’re creating the page for. Let’s add some riveting copy here so people are so intrigued they can’t help but buy the book. You can turn off any sections that you don’t want to use which makes this mini site very versatile. If for instance, you aren’t selling on Barnes and Noble’s marketplace, you can hide this button. If you don’t have a video about your book that’s okay, you can easily turn that section off. If by chance you don’t have enough testimonials, you can shut off the ones that you’re not going to use as well. It’s very easy to customize. Now again, this section allows someone to opt in to get the first chapter of your book free. You can easily deliver this chapter using our built-in lead magnet delivery system. Again, this is super easy to set up and it can really help drive sales and help build your list. Now under opt-in form integration, select the integration then select the list that they’ll be added to. I’m going to just add them to my house list for this example. Now we’re giving away the first chapter of our book so we’ll need to turn on digital asset delivery, then select the first chapter from our drop down. So this means that even though they’re being added to the house list, they’re being given the first chapter of our book. The digital asset delivery system handles sending your free report, downloadable ebook, this chapter or whatever else you’re giving away in exchange for someone’s email address. While your email service provider still functions exactly the same as it normally would and sends out all the other emails you’ve set up in your email service provider account, and this is definitely our favorite way of delivering opt-in drives. Now let’s go ahead and say that we’re done customizing and we’ll go ahead and name the page, then save the page. From there, you’ll have a couple publishing options. With the click of a button, you can publish this page through our servers, publish it through WordPress, publish it to Facebook as a Facebook tab, or finally, you can download the file and put it on your own server. If you’re not a LeadPages customer, you will need to be a coder or hire a coder to make the downloadable template below work. For non-LeadPages customers, it’s a bit more difficult to set up. Here’s what you’ll need to do if you’re not a LeadPages customer. If you’re a developer, click on the link below and opt in to get this great-looking mini site template, and our lead magnet delivery system will deliver it to you. Modify the HTML and CSS using your coding skills or the coder you’ve hired, integrate it with your auto responder, WordPress, etcetera, get your landing page code that you’ve generated, and then publish the page. So these are all the steps that you’ll need to take if you’re not a LeadPages customer. If you are a LeadPages customer, it’s super easy to create this page using our point and click editor. If you’re not a LeadPages customer and you’d like to be, head to www.LeadPages.net. I’m Jeff Wenberg, have a great day. [0:05:03] End of Audio
