What’s new
To access the new image manager, simply click on an image and select the image icon. Once inside, you’ll notice a few new features:
- Search for images.
- Infinite scroll when browsing your image library.
- Image size filters for favicons and social preview images.
- Autosave when editing image metadata.
Plus we’ve kept all your favorite features from before, including image editing and the ability to update titles and alt text.
All this means you’ll spend less time searching for images and more time actually building your pages.
Find images instantly with the search function
Looking for an image you’ve previously uploaded? Now you can perform a search of your image library, allowing you to find what you’re looking for in seconds. Simply enter a word or phrase into the search field and any file names, titles, alt text, or file types (jpeg, gif, png, etc.) that include your term will be returned.
No more endlessly scrolling to find the image you need. Just type in what you’re looking for, grab it, and go.
Browse your library without changing pages
Previously, larger image libraries were divided up into pages. If the image you were looking for wasn’t on the first page you’d have to click through the other pages until you found it. This meant it could take a while to find older images, especially if you didn’t know what page they were on.
Our new image manager fixes this issue with the infinite scroll feature. Now all your images are on one page, so you can just keep scrolling until you find the image you’re looking for.
Only see images that meet size requirements for favicons and social previews
Setting a favicon for your website and selecting social preview images for your pages are part of digital marketing best practices. However, these images have size requirements and if you choose something that’s the wrong size you’ll end up with distorted photos that reflect poorly on your brand.
When selecting favicons and social preview images, the new image manager will automatically filter your images to only display the ones that meet the size requirements. So, you know whatever photo you choose will display correctly.
Save changes automatically
The Leadpages image manager allows you to make changes to a photo’s title and alt text. Any edits you make to these fields are now automatically saved, removing an extra step and ensuring you never lose your work.
Don’t worry, we’ve kept your favorite features
Not everything about our image manager has changed. We’ve kept everything you loved about the old tool, including:
- Upload multiple images at once: Save time by uploading two, three, or dozens of images at a time.
- Crop and resize your images: No need to use third-party software or expensive image editing programs. Crop and resize your images right inside the image editor to make sure they display exactly how you want them to.
- Edit image metadata: Optimizing your image metadata is important for SEO. Click on any image within the image manager to edit the title and alt text.
