How to Analyze Leadpages Landing Page Heat Maps with ChatGPT
Your landing page analytics tell you how many people visit your page. Heat maps show you what they do once they get there. Now, with the Leadpages plugin for ChatGPT, you can use both to figure out what's working, what's getting in the way, and what to improve.
Connect ChatGPT to your Leadpages account, ask it to find a page, and have it open that page in the Leadpages editor. From there, ChatGPT can review your audience insights, analyze click and attention heat maps, and recommend changes based on how visitors actually interact with your page.
When you're ready, ask ChatGPT to make the improvements for you. It applies the changes directly in your Leadpages account, where you can review them, publish your updated page, and continue optimizing as more visitor data comes in.
Install the Leadpages plugin in ChatGPT, connect your account, and start with one of your most visited landing pages.

See ChatGPT analyze your landing page heat maps
Watch Leadpages CEO Michael Sacca connect ChatGPT to Leadpages, find a landing page, analyze its heat maps, and make four improvements directly in the Leadpages editor.
How to analyze your heat maps with ChatGPT
01: Connect the Leadpages plugin
Install the Leadpages plugin in ChatGPT and connect your Leadpages account. Once connected, ChatGPT can access your Leadpages page data and help you analyze and improve your landing pages.
02: Find the page you want to improve
Ask ChatGPT to find a page in your account, such as your second most visited landing page. It returns the page along with its recent page views and unique visitors. Then, ask ChatGPT to open the page in the Leadpages editor.
03: See who's visiting your page
Once the page is open in the editor, review its audience insights to understand who's visiting. You'll see information such as company size and ICP matches, giving you more context about whether your page is attracting the right audience.
04: Review your heat maps
Open the Heatmap view to explore click and attention heat maps, click labels, and scroll depth. These insights show where visitors click, how far they scroll, and which parts of your page hold their attention.
05: Ask ChatGPT how to increase conversions
Now ask ChatGPT what it would change to improve conversions based on your heat map data.
In the demo, the conversion event is a button click. ChatGPT analyzes the heat map data, button click data, and page layout to identify potential improvements. Because it can access the underlying data, its recommendations go beyond simply looking at a screenshot of your page.
06: Review its recommendations
In the demo, one of the clearest signals is shallow scrolling: visitors aren't making it very far down the page.
ChatGPT identifies an opportunity to improve how each section leads into the next, creating a stronger story that encourages visitors to keep scrolling. It then comes back with four recommendations for improving the page.
07: Have ChatGPT make the changes
Once you've reviewed the recommendations, tell ChatGPT to go ahead. It applies the changes directly in your Leadpages account.
In the demo, the first improvement is a more condensed hero section. You can continue working through the recommendations and review the updated page in the editor.

When you're happy with the changes, take your updated page live. Give it time to collect more visitor data, then ask ChatGPT to analyze the results and identify further opportunities to improve.
Landing page optimization doesn't have to stop after one round of edits. You can repeat the process as more people visit your page and use their behavior to guide your next improvements.

Why heat maps make ChatGPT more useful
ChatGPT can already suggest landing page improvements based on general conversion best practices. But without access to your analytics, it doesn't know how visitors actually interact with your page.
The Leadpages plugin changes that. It gives ChatGPT access to your page data, including heat maps and button click data, so it can base its recommendations on real visitor behavior. Instead of guessing what might improve conversions, it can identify where visitors click, where they lose interest, and what you could change to keep them engaged.
And because ChatGPT does the work through the Leadpages plugin, analyzing your pages and making edits doesn't use your Leadpages credits.
