Leadpages Has a Fresh New Look
Things are about to look a little different. And you don't have to do a thing.
We've spent this year rebuilding the parts of Leadpages you touch every day — the editor itself, the page-building experience, and the template library. That work is now reaching every account. You'll log in one morning and it will already be there — no move, no rebuild, no step to run on your part.
This kind of change makes a lot of long-time customers nervous, understandably. Redesigns and platform rebuilds have a track record of breaking things that used to work, or asking customers to migrate pages, reconnect integrations, or relearn a tool they'd already gotten comfortable with. This isn't that. Nothing about your existing pages, domains, or account setup changes as a result of this update — what changes is the experience of building and editing going forward.
Three things you'll notice
01 — A new look
A cleaner editor and simpler navigation, with less hunting for the thing you need. If you've used Leadpages for a while, you know the feeling of knowing a setting exists somewhere but not remembering exactly which menu it's tucked into. The redesign is aimed squarely at that problem — surfacing the tools you use constantly, and tucking the ones you rarely touch further out of the way, without removing anything.
Importantly, everything you already know how to do still works exactly the way you know it. This isn't a case of a familiar workflow getting relabeled or relocated for the sake of change — the goal was to make the common paths shorter, not to make you relearn the tool from scratch.
02 — AI that builds with you
Describe what you're building in one sentence. Piper drafts it on your brand, then keeps taking direction while she works. Send her a photo of your product and she'll build around the real thing instead of stock imagery.
This is a meaningfully different way to start a page than the traditional "browse a template gallery, pick the closest match, then edit it" flow that most landing page tools — including earlier versions of Leadpages — have used for years. Templates aren't going away, but for a lot of people, describing what they need turns out to be faster than browsing.
03 — More templates
Templates aren't going anywhere. There are more of them than you have today, and the ones you already use have been refreshed with more modern layouts and design patterns. Start from a template, a sentence, or a blank page — whichever fits how you like to work. Some people will always prefer starting from a real example they can see and adapt; the expanded template library is there for exactly that preference.
What you need to do
Nothing. Your pages, your domains, your leads, and your integrations all stay exactly where they are. Nothing goes offline and nothing needs rebuilding.
Same plan. Same price. Same pages.

Any drafts you have in progress stay exactly as you left them. Nothing about your billing changes. The update is entirely about what the building and editing experience feels like going forward — it isn't a migration, and there's no action required on your end.
Why we rebuilt it
Leadpages has been around long enough that "the editor" had accumulated over a decade of features added at different times, by different teams, solving different problems as they came up. That's normal for any mature product, but it also means the day-to-day experience of using the tool can end up more complicated than the underlying task actually is. Building a landing page is, at its core, a simple job: put together the right message, in the right order, with the right way to convert. The tool around that job shouldn't require more effort than the job itself.
This update is the result of stepping back and asking what building a page should feel like today, rather than accepting the accumulated complexity as fixed. That's also why AI plays a bigger role now than it did before — not as a gimmick bolted onto an existing workflow, but as a genuinely faster way to get from a blank page to a real, on-brand starting point.
What stays exactly the same
It's worth being explicit about what this update does not touch, since "fresh new look" can sound bigger than it is if you're not sure what's included:
- Your existing pages and their performance data — nothing about analytics, conversion tracking, or historical data changes.
- Your domains and DNS settings — no reconnection required.
- Your integrations — whatever you've connected (email platforms, CRMs, webhooks) keeps working exactly as configured.
- Your billing and plan — no changes to what you pay or what's included.
Common questions
Do I need to update my published pages? No. Existing published pages are unaffected and continue running exactly as they are.
Will my team need retraining? For the core tasks — editing text, adding sections, publishing — no. The layout is cleaner, but the underlying actions are the same ones you already know.
Is the AI page builder mandatory? No. You can still start from a blank page or a template exactly as before; the AI option is additive, not a replacement requirement.
When does this reach my account? It rolls out account by account, so you may see it before or after other customers — there's nothing to opt into or schedule on your end.
